Righteous Roasters LLC is a socially responsible company located in Denver Colorado and is committed to distributing a variety of top quality hand roasted coffees from around the world while leaving behind the smallest footprint. Our methods of conducting business reflect our high ethical standards and dedication to our environment and community. A percentage of our profits go directly to causes that we find most meaningful - causes such as breast cancer, the Leukemia Lymphoma Society and preserving our national parks. Righteous Roasters consciously chose this path with the hope that people not only enjoy our hand roasted coffee, but feel good knowing that our company and culture is dedicated to creating positive change in our environment.

Morgan Pennington - co-founder

Morgan Pennington was born and raised in Oklahoma and went to school at Oklahoma State University where he studied Finance and Marketing. He moved to Colorado in 2006 to follow his passion of snow boarding, rock climbing, hiking, fishing and camping. He was drawn to Colorado by the great outdoors and soon realized how precious his surroundings were. He started making a more concerted effort to become a part of the solution and truly believes that everyone has an obligation to mother earth first and foremost and it starts by asking this simple question. "Are the choices I'm making on a daily basis promoting positive change?" Virtually every decision that you make during the day has some kind of impact on the environment. Morgan believes that these daily conscious decisions have the ability to change the world because of the positive impact it has had on his own life. Righteous Roasters LLC is an extension of these efforts towards positive change.

Mike Killmeyer - co-founder

Mike Killmeyer lives in Denver, Colorado. He is 37, happily married with two kids. He attended Penn State and currently has a successful career in finance with a major financial institution. He grew up in an entrepreneurial family. His grandfather James started a business in 1929 and his father runs it today. Many of his family members have worked for the company over the years. It was very much a part of his everyday life. At this point, Mike is ready to create something of his own. Something positive. The flexibility of building a new company has allowed him to have a foundation of responsible business practices. Responsibility encompasses everything environmentally, personally, socially and financially. Righteous Roasters will continually try to utilize technology and information to improve the direction of Righteous Roasters.
